To achieve its aims, Milngavie in Bloom needs more people to join in. We need members with a wide range of skills and interests.

We need active volunteers to join our flourishing group, people  who would like to do planting and tidying work. And maybe even become responsible for a specific area.

If you would like to support us but feel you do not have the time or opportunity to assist us physically you can help and join as a sponsor member. Donations from any member will be most welcome. All donations are used towards plants and planting.

You can help by contacting us at the email address below. Please give the following details

Milngavie In Bloom is an entirely voluntary organisation. We rely on donations to buy the plants, compost and planters. These donations can come from individuals, shops, businesses and even grants from Councils. We are always looking out for practical help as well. We have regular “Weed-Ins” or plantings which last no more than a couple of hours. If you would like to lend a hand please feel free to do so for as long or as short as you can.
The aim of Milngavie in Bloom is to bring colour to the town of Milngavie by planting the various bedding areas around the Precinct and also by placing barrels and planters within the pedestrianised streets. Like a number of our “fellow bloomers” we also aim to litter pick as this also helps preserve the town centre. Our litter picking activity we call
Clean Sweep
